Ute Be. was born in October 1972 in Berlin (West). At an early age, she was introduced to classical music. At age 15, she joined her first band as a bass player. For many years, Ute Be. was lead vocal and bass for the “Bertelsmaenner” in the post-wall Berlin.
In her current program “Growing older with Madonna”, Ute Be. performs for the first time as a solo artist. She interprets the hits of Madonna spanning three decades – alone on the stage with just her voice, guitar and loop-machine. She sings the lead vocals, the background, builds the choir voice by voice and finally directs the chorus of her own voices. She blends songs with commentary and lets the chorus intensify until it culminates in a Grand Finale.
